Money does many things. Money changes everything. You can get whatever you want if you have money. You can obtain the material world with money. Yes it makes the world go round.Round and round and round and round. But is money all what we need to make our life go round with meaning? Definitely not! Money offers materialistic things but not usually achieve interpersonal relationship with full affection. It is true that money can give you power and might. Nevertheless it is not everything in life can be bought by money.Love and faith amongst my priority does not cost anyone to achieve them and you cannot pay them with money. Only through the presence of love and faith can lead you to real happiness in life. You may not understand it now but you will realize it one day. Believe me, in the real essence, it is love and faith which can make the world to go round and round with a definite direction.Money can make the world go round but it will make you dizzy and at the end you will find yourself searching for things that could give you real happiness. Anyway as long as there is faith and love in your heart, it is an excellent situation to have money. Just never indulge yourself to be overpowered by money though.

Darn and I thought It was gravitational pull shows what I know:-)
Stars and planets form as a result of the gravitational collapse of accreting material. Any net translational motion of that initial material is accelerated as its radius of rotation decreases. This is due to the same conservation of angular momentum principle that makes skaters and divers spin more rapidly when they bring their arms closer to their bodies. In its extreme, this effect can make collapsed neutron starts spin many times each second, creating the regular beat of pulsars as observed from Earth.

Once an initial spin was established for the Earth, the same conservation principle says that its angular momentum will continue unless it can be transferred to another object. With no significant frictional forces to allow that to happen, the Earth can continue to spin indefinitely without any further prodding. (More on that later.)

It is incorrect to say that the Moon does not spin. It rotates on its axis in synch with its revolution around the Earth, keeping the same face always pointed toward us. If it did not rotate at all, we would see all of its surface over the course of one month's orbit. This condition was created by tidal forces between the Earth and Moon, gradually slowing its initial rotation until the current more stable situation evolved. This same 'tidal lock' condition has been observed for satellite closely orbiting other planets. Because of its elliptical orbit, a slight 'wobble' allows us to actually see slightly more than half of the Moon's surface over the course of a month.

Tidal forces, by the way, continue to affect the Earth/Moon system. They exert enough frictional force on the Earth so that some of its angular momentum IS being transferred slowly to the Moon. The net effect of that is to gradually slow down Earth's rotation and lengthen the day. Where is that energy and momentum going? The moon is gradually receding from the Earth. Both of these effects are small. The Moon is receding at a rate of less than 2 inches per year and the day is getting longer by one second every 67,000 years or so.

I think it was Andrew Carnegie, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm sure about the quote, and I love it:

"Money doesn't buy happiness, but I've been miserable poor and I've been miserable rich...and I'd much rather be miserable rich."

If you're the type to be unhappy, at least have money. If you're the type to be happy no matter what the situation, who cares about living the rat race just to add more stuff to the collection.

I saw another quote, not by a famous person, that said, "Whoever dies with the most stuff....still dies." I like that one too.

Money gives you the freedom to do certain things, it does not necessarily make you happy. The world revolves around commodities which are worth money ( oil, gold etc) and which in turn determine the value of the money.

Yep. Money goes everything go round. We'd be almost nothing without it. And rven though people say oney doesnt buy happiness they are wrong because you arent actually in need of anything which is why most people arent happy.

Yes it does.
in today's times, materialism has replaced values and day-to-day courtesies. All seem to be with you till you have money in your pocket.Be it your friends/spouse/even kids........
God made the world with people to be loved, and things to be used....but the whole confusion and chaos in this world is cause, people are being used and things being loved.
But,like every other thing...money too has it's limitations....you might hire a servant with money, but can't buy his loyalty....
you might get friends with money ....but can, never make them be There for you at hard times with money!
but the importance of money can't be overlooked either....its bitter but indeed true..that money does make the world go round.

If you don't have it, you want it. If you some of it, you want more of it. If you have a lot of it, you still want more of it. For people like us, who don't know searing poverty, having to live day by day to see if you can just take care of your children this week. Money is something that we keep. Save it up so that when we get old and bored we can spend it at a casino. (I apologies' I don't like rude people and I did not mean that way.)

Money makes a lot of things happen, but as I grow older, it becomes less important. Family and health become the most important.
