Cool! Congratulations; you are well on your way to Answerholism. That "best answer" thrill is the jolt we get that is so addicting.
I no longer get the emails. I suppose somewhere along the line I was offered the option to turn them off, and I did. But I still get a kick out of signing on and seeing the little widget in the upper left say, "Wow! You've earned 33 points!" or something like that. That would be three best answers and three thumbs up since the last time I signed on. I always check which answers were chosen as best, but I've gotten rather blase [where's our accent mark?] about thumbs up, I must admit.
Welcome to the club. Answerholics Anonymous group is for you. They don't try to cure their addiction; just to enjoy it more through email discussion threads about the Answers program.
P.S. Random Man was right; you don't have any best answers yet! Why would you lie to us about that?

CONGRATULATIONS !! It shows you put your best effort and gave good information. Keep it up.
Incidentally, I have received many many best answer emails.... and each one is as important as the first. Also note that most replies you see are shallow and unthoughtful, because there are many people on here because they have no life.
Best answer emails give me a reason to be here.

I have quite a few, but most of them are if I'm the only one who replied. I have a few that I put some real thought into it though.

actually it was fun... i thought who was such a fool to rate me the best answer...
when i checked the question again... i found that i answered it correctly and honestly... and it did help the asker...
after finding the fact that you helped somebody i was glad... before that q&a was fun... after that it became serious... and i love it now...

I would know it was either a mistaken identity or someone to sell me a timeshare.
