First off, no offense to the few nice people that live in Louisville, but...
I used to live there, and I can tell you, IT SUCKS! There are some places that have its share of disadvantages, but this city is just awful. The park system is great, and Bardstown Road has a cool, funky vibe to it, but that's about it. The people are absolutely the nastiest and most impolite, b*tchy, and sour I've ever had the opportunity to deal with. I also work in both retail and government, and even to this day, the worst, most mannerless people I deal with are from that city--not NYC, LA, or Chicago.
I don't get it. All I know is I moved back South and was glad I did it!

i used to live in louisville...up until 3 years ago. now i live in jeffersonville, indiana. about 5 minutes away. i love the city and haven't encountered all the rude, b*tchy people you speak of. sorry you had that experience. how long ago did you live here?
