There is a city and district in Japan called Usa. It's located in the Oita, Japan. The city has never been renamed for the sake of importation, that is a false statement. It has had this name since before the 8th century, also products made in a certain region are required to bear the name of the country it was made in, not the city.

The United States. Democratic status. Was the source of the controversy at Valley Forge. The founding fathers were democratic. The people who wanted a republic almost starved the entire American army out to prove their point. Then it was set up as a democracy for the people and Thomas Jefferson ended up speaking a lot about it. Then these losers called the puratins came in, representing the republic (big businesses). They fought for almost 100 years to reverse the constitution and all the equal rights stuff. Now you see it, they still try to make it a nazi or king james state. But most of what they have done is public. Because of their joker mentality, now many huge financial industry based entities have more power then people and actually contradict what America stands for. America is supposed to be a democracy, but because of the corrupt idiots who took unrestrained actions. Some things like the federal government. Even though they are a corporation. As a ruling body. It's just a mish mash of good people and dirty people who support business over people.

I think there is a town in Japan called Usa.
Apparantly it was called this post war when Japan was becoming the manufacturing giant it is today. The reason being they could write 'Made in USA' on goods from there.
Back when it was preferable to buy something made in USA rather than Japan.

Not that I know of. Years ago, post WWII, there was a legend that Japan named an Island "USA" so that they could stamp their products with "Made In USA", but that's an urban legend.

The place is called USA so that when they put the little stickers on their products people think it was made in the U.S.of A. Pretty clever I think.

There is a city in asia named Usa. They renamed it that so that when they were shipping cars and selling them here, people would think that they were buying cars from the U.S.A.
