How to design a mansard roof?

I am designing a building with a mansard roof... need to know more about it... Pls help!!

A nice west coast style roof, bright red rounded tile, with brand new copper valleys. tan stuccoo walls. with large dormers with french door coming out onto a small landing. on the beach, yeah
