Blowin in the wind by Peter, Paul, and Mary.
I liked their version best because of the wonderful harmony and the finger picking on the guitars. That made this song special to me even though others had done it as well.

Puff the Magic Dragon by Peter, Paul & Mary
it is really a song about a young boy growing up, but it seemed to have gotten more popular by pot heads (maybe they did not get past the word 'puff').
It still is a popular folk song, even in 2006, and became more of a favorite of mine, as I raised my own son, and watched him grow up.
I am a musician myself, so if anyone would like the sheet music and lyrics for Puff the Magic Dragon, you can download it here at http://sheet-music.8k.com/folk-rock.html
