What do you think of the way Barbara Walters treated Elisabeth on The View on Wednesday?

They were discussing the hot topic of a pill that will be available over-the-counter to use within 72 hours after having sex to prevent pregnancy.

Elisabeth did not go 'crazy'!
I think Barbara Walters was extremely rude to Elisabeth. She scolded her like a child for expressing her feelings.
The name of the show is The View. In my opinion this means that people should be able to express their views on different subjects and not be ridiculed for their views. Just b/c she doesn't go along with the majority we are calling her reaction out of control well I think that she has a good point and people should be open to hearing what she has to say. The way I see it is that everyone "claims" to be open minded but really they are only "open minded" when they agree with what is being said.

i think barbara did an excellent job handling elisabeth considering the fact elisabeth went crazy on that question...got extremely emotionally invested...would not listen to the other perspectives of the ladies...in particular lisa loeb...barbara's point was that - in a debate, you cannot reach that edge where you're out of control and shutting out other people's opinions as false or ridiculous simply because they arent totally aligned with your own view...i think it was very immature of elisabeth - and too add to it - her view had so many holes in it that it was just awkward trying to make sense of it while she's lashing out

Oh jeez! I just tuned in when Barbara and Elizabeth were on the couch in a two shot and Barbara had her arm around Elizabeth. Elizabeth's eyes were tearing up and never found out why.
