Pediatric drug dosages are given based on the drug and calibrated by weight or age, weight being the most accurate. If you are giving amoxicillin, hopefully it was prescribed by a doctor and the pharmacist has put a dosage on the bottle?

If you have lost the original container or can't read it please call the doctor to get the correct dosage or call the pharmacy where you filled the original prescription. Please don't guess!

You can dose by age but it's least accurate. I'm not aware that that concentration is available. The common concentrations are 125/5, 200/5, 250/5, 400/5. Weight based dosing is the most accurate and will provide the better blood level within the therapeutic index. You should call your doctor or your local pharmacist with any questions on dosing.

Depends on the age of the child. My 9-mo-old was on 1/2 tsp 3 times a day for 10 days.
