Friendliest:
1. San Antonio...WOW, an incredible city w/ incredible people!
2. Galveston, Texas...WOW!
3. Austin...it has such a mellow vibe to it. Great city.
4. Southhaven, Mississippi
5. Memphis
6. Nashville
7. Fort Worth

Least friendly:
1. Louisville, Kentucky...that place just gets under my skin. I despise it! Impolite, b*tchy people, and what do they think is so great about their city?
2. Los Angeles...at least it has a reason to be rude, just think of all those freeways congested with people "in a rush."
3. San Francisco
4. Northern New Jersey
5. Washington, DC
6. Orlando
7. Detroit

there's no way to categorize which cities are friendly or unfriendly...no matter where you go, there are nice people and there are mean people, it's not like they congregate in individual cities....and I think your view of friendly and unfriendly is very skewed...almost all of your cities are in Texas and the rest are in the south, so you're probably from the south. I'm from northern new jersey so I take offense as to you calling this area unfriendly, how can you possibly say that an entire area is unfriendly when you have no basis to say that, you probably just ran into a person who happened to be unfriendly....bottom line, stop being biased and start realizing that different people have different ways of life depending on where you live, so stop judging people that have a different lifestyle than you

You certainly have traveled a lot. I am pleased to hear you have enjoyed some Texas hospitality as well!

I agree with Los Angeles based on the people I met while there.
Dallas and Houston are similar in their congested, in a rush way.
I have always met really friendly people while in San Francisco, so I will have to disagree there.
People in Flagstaff Arizona were very nice.
People in Honolulu were very nice as well.

That's about it for me!

Any cities in Hawaii are pretty friendly. San Francisco is also pretty friendly.

I'd say NYC and Los Angeles are probably the least firendly, mainly because people there seem like they're always in a rush or too busy.

San Francisco didn't used to be rude. When I grew up there it was great. It was all downhill when the dotcommers moved in and ran all the cool people out.

New York is really friendly. I thought it wouldn't be, but I felt at home right away.

You are right on the dot for the friendliest cities. I've been to L.A. a million times and the people are very friendly.

In my experience: Friendly:
1. Las Vegas... very nice people
2. Cleveland ... focused and very nice
3. Atlanta ... southern hospitality
4. San Antonio... possibly, I suppose...
Unfriendly:
1. hmmm. I'll get back to you on that, but
Chicago has the rudest drivers. For sure.
