No one week wonders or minor album cuts ... gotta be a song that inexplicably sold tons of copies yet sucked horribly.

Debby Boone was a toned down Olivia Newton John in that era. And every guy wanted to date Olivia. Besides, her dad Pat was an icon.
I came close to picking the Titantic song but a lot of 13 yr old girls sang it worse than Celine Dion when it came on. I truly feel your pain. It made the movie sort of stupid.
Unfortunately, I'm too old to know the really bad songs from more recent pop-dom. So I don't know that Bop song ... don't think I'm going to rush out and buy it. Thanks for the warnings.
