Its a heart with a cross in the background inside the heart are our horoscope signs I am an aries on the cusp with pisces and he is scorpio on the cusp with libra. surrounding it I have these words. "Faith, hope, love, abide all three but the greatest of these is love." he actually wants to get it done on him its so permanent though should I

he wants me to put it in the middle of my back above my bra strap.

I do love him and been living with him for 1 year now. I know this is the man I want to spend my life with.

That's totally up to you, but being that it's a symbol of him and your love for him as opposed to his name, there may be less of a chance of you wanting to have it covered up or removed in the event things don't work out for the 2 of you. Think about it real hard first though.

I wouldn't get it done. I had my tattoos done 19 years ago with my boyfriend and we were together for 4 years. He ended up being a jerk a year later. Now the tattoos are a constant reminder of a broken relationship that my little girls ask about. Mine are on both upper arms and now I can't wear sleeveless shirts for work because I changed careers and tattoos aren't allowed in the medical office. I should have listened to my parents back then and not got them.

Honey, it is never a good idea to get ANYTHING symbolizing your other half, only because, I truly and strongly believe, once you get a tattoo representing the other person, relationships do tend to fall apart, I've seen it with my own eyes. You don't need to tattoo yourself in order to show your trust and faithfulness, it's only going to bite you in the azz. You know, get a custom made necklace, or bracelet, with that symbol...that is easier to take off if anything within the long run...

Yeah, do it up. I would suggest leaving out the astrological signs though. That way it works no matter what, which is how a tattoo should be.

It will represent love, not an individual. It will always work.

Do not ever put anything like that on your body. Tattoos are fun but I would suggest you limit it to something just about you. My daughter felt just like you and she had this guy's name tattooed on her chest. Just tonight I took her to get fitted for her wedding dress to a guy not mentioned on her chest and here is" Pete" poking out from the top of the bodice. The best way to proclaim your undying love would be to marry the fellow. Not trying to sound mean, just something to think about before you go ahead with it.

I have 13 tattoo's and not one of them that envolves my husband and I. We have been married 33 years, most tattooist won't even put your spouses name on you, you know why? It's bad luck. My husband and I have both been turned down when we asked to have the others name tattooed on us. The worst thing is if you break up, and I know you will say it will never happen to you, but you will have that tat forever. I would only do it after my husband is dead as a memorial to him.

You say "he wants me to put it in the middle of my back above my bra strap." What do you want? If you have even the tiniest doubt about getting a tattoo--then don't. It is forever.

If you know you want to spend the rest of your life with him then get a wedding ring instead. It's a lot easier to remove a ring than a tattoo if you change your mind later.

Please do not do it. I was with a guy for about a year and he wanted to get my name tattooed on his chest, I tried to talk him out of it but he did it anyways. We split but now he is stuck with it, so no matter who he is with now they have to look at my name inside a big heart on the left side of his chest. I think the only names any one should ever think of getting would be the names (or initials) of their children.

I think it is great that you want to put a Biblical saying on your back for the world to see.
Even if you break-up in 10 or 20 years, no one will care what
the astrological signs mean, they will just see the Bible verse.
