What ear is it that gay guys usually get pierced?
Im just wondering cause one of mine got infected so I only wear one. Just wondering if it's the gay ear or not.

once upon a time it was if a mans right ear was pierced, it meant he was gay. if a man had the left ear pierced it meant he was a sailor who's ship went down and he lost his friends.
of course, this is just the modern white people versions of what a piercing means. piercing has been in many cultures over the centuries and today none of it really means much anymore.
i have just my left ear pierced. why? just because i thought it looked better on me than getting both of them done. i wanted just one, and i dont care what people think, but a lot of the girls i knew said they liked just one, not two. so, it seemed like a good idea to me. lol.

Traditionally its the right ear, but many gay men have both pierced these days.

Do ears really have a sexual orientation? I thought they were just for hearing. Obviously I have been misinformed. . . Wear one, wear four, wear eleven, it doesn't matter. The idea of there being a gay signal from what ear your are wearing your earring(s) in is a myth. Wear what you like and hope that people want to meet you for who you are and don't make snap judgments based on your jewelry placement. Anyway, the people who would make those judgments are people you should avoid.

That's all a myth. My twin sister was wearing one ear pierced for a long time.

Someone once told me Lefty is Right and Righty is wrong. He had one in his left ear.

left ear buckaneer right ear.. queer.. but thats old.. now a days it doesn't really mean anything never worry about what people think.. be an individual its your best quality
