That depends on how he understands the Bible. In the Book of Genesis it says that God gave humans 'dominion' over the earth and all other animals.

If 'dominion' means the right to use other animals entirely for our own benefit, then, no, the man of God is not doing wrong - not according to this interpretation.

But some people interpret 'dominion' to mean 'stewardship' which means to treat the natural world like a great estate - a great property that the steward doesn't own but only tends and looks after and generally keeps in good condition. And, according to this interpretation, killing an animal for its fur might be wrong if doing so is endangering the survival of that species of animal.

If the man of God likes wearing fur, how is that wrong? If he feels wrong for wearing it, then it's wrong. If it doesn't bother him, then it's no big deal. We shouldn't turn to others for their reactions as we live our own lives. Live and let live. The fur is already a fur, it's not like he clubbed the animal himself and made a fur. Someone was going to wear the fur. *Shrug* I guess it's all in how YOU look at it. Do what's comfortable for you, don't live your life around others.

Is he wrong in what sense?
Is he wearing human fur?
Is he wearing bear fur?
I don't think its wrong if the creature wanted to give the man of god his fur, but if the man of god forcfully took the fur without asking, that is a sin.

No. God placed the animals on earth to provide food and clothing for the human beings. When Adam and Eve sinned, all of history was irrevocably changed. I personally would never wear fur....not because I think it is wrong, but simply because I prefer less expensive garments, but I wouldn't say someone who wears fur is wrong.

Honestly, me thinks that if anyone wears fur for the simple luxuriousness of it is wrong... but, that's just my opinion. I like faux fur... and it is so soft and feels nice... and I don't have the guilt of some poor baby seal being clubbed to death to get me a pretty... soft... whatever it is...
As for a man of God... what is he doing with fur anyway? He better be wearing faux stuff...

we are all supposedly gods children, and a man of god is wrong for plenty of things, like harboring pedophiles or being one, using religon as political power and self serving reasons, preaching intolerance or hypocrisy, there are so many things far worse than wearing fur that make a supposed man of god wrong and fur is the least of them. I am not saying all oif them are bad, but they are all not good

I love fur. Warm, pretty. I wear synthetic, but if there was no such thing as synthetic fur, I would wear real fur. Minks are nasty nasty animals and there is no purpose for them except coats anyway.

I don't think anyone should wear fur. They torture animals to get fur. Wear faux fur! Minx whether nasty or not don't bother anybody, leave them alone.
