Girls, do you prefer skirts, dresses or pants/shorts and why?

You see less and less girls dressing up these days and Im wondering whats the bad part about wearing a skirt? I mean their sexy!

oooh well i like to wear jeans to school because theyre easier to move around in &such but when i go around to places &all that jazz i like to dress up!
i have some rlly cute skirts and cheap/sporty/comfy/cute dresses that are easy to wear anywhere
i would suggest going to H&M or Forever 21...they have the cutest things there that look like they would be rlly rlly expensive but theyre not!

I LOVE wearing dresses and skirts and have a whole closet full of them. Sure, on days when I'm just lazy (or it's 20 degrees) I wear jeans but for the most part it's dresses or skirts. I just love them because they make me feel feminine, like a lady.

Simply put, skirts are limiting. Pants allow for more leg freedom, because you don't have to worry about flashing your underwear if you sit crosslegged.

Although it now occurs to me that with low-rise jeans, there is still the possibility of showing underwear. Then again, it's not that much, and the risk isn't as large.

Also, a skirt is more likely to get snagged on something, because it's free-hanging material. And the skirts that hang closer to your body restrict leg movement.

So, in conclusion: I like wearing skirts sometimes, but not all the time. And if we wear something, it should be because we like it and we're comfortable wearing it, not just to impress someone of the opposite sex.

I still wear the mini skirts when I go out on date nights with my hubby. I have the confidence to wear them and don't care what anyone else may think.
Some of what you are seeing or not seeing may also depend on where your hanging out. If your into the club scene, you will see many girls in some very short skirts.

We wear jeans a lot because we've discovered ways to dress up jeans with a cute polo or layers. As soon as we figure out how to totally dress down skirts we'll start wearing more of them. And there's the comfort thing.

i love skirts, but when i wanna be comfy at school i just wear jeans, but somedays i wear skirts just cause i feel like it. when you sit in a classroom for 7 hours its more about comfort, but if i go out with my friends i will dress up more

I always wear jeans, even if it is 90 degrees outside. I never wear skirts or dresses unless I am forced to. I am just way to uncomfortable with my body to want to show it off. Give me the biggest, baggiest tshirts and jeans you can find.

Serious answer here, lol, I wear lots of jeans and sometimes shorts... I'm more laid back, I have like 20 hoodies in my closet, literally. And lots of jeans and sneakers. I only dress up for an occasion.

I like shorts best. Skirts can be annoying because you can't run around or jump. Plus when you sit down, get up, etc. you always have to check to see if people can see your panties.
