I checked the USPTO (United States Patent & Trademark Office) and 68 live records popped up for "Nippon." If you're wanting to use this name, you'll want to have comprehensive research done first.
I listed some links where you can do some preliminary name checking. However, please be aware that this is merely scratching the surface of what's out there.

"nippon" is how the Japanese refer to Japan. Americans call the country they live in "America" or the "US of A" and Japanese call their country "Nippon"

if it is registered it would most likely be in japan. Nippon means japan.
