where do i begin???

Question

i am interested in making my own business online. i know what i wanna display on my site, but the only thing i dont know is everything else. where do i begin? what do i need in order to run a business online? how do i make my own business web site? do i need any kind of licenses to start a business online? plz tell me what are the requirements?????? im lost :'(

you seem like a person who know what they want, I think that is wonderful and shows a lot about you. I am not sure if you have already found the business you wanted to work with, or if you are just looking, but I have found a great business that has all the systems in place and all you have to do is show up, There is no setting up websites. or giving presentations. The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.

I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* Selling Online: How to Become a Successful E-Commerce Merchant by Jim Carroll, Rick Broadhead
* The Complete E-Commerce Book: Design, Build, and Maintain a Successful Web-Based Business by Janice Reynolds
* Intelligent Selling: The Art & Science of Selling Online by Ken Burke
* E-Commerce for Dummies by Don Jones

There are plenty of free informational resources out there. Check the source box for links to articles.
