what should i do. many people say i ahve very nice/hott legs. i wear many mini skirts because its comfortable not to show off my legs. but at times many guys come up to me and try to touch them especially when i cross my legs. i dont like all this attentioin about my legs because it makes me feel uncomfortable, but i really dont want to stop wearing mini skirts because they are extremely comfortable. what should i do about this problem. by the way i am a 19 yr. old female if taht would help you

First off no one should invade your personal space like that if you don't want them to - most people know enought to stand at least 3 feet back when talking to someone - because every person has an amount of space in front and around them called personal space and people should respect that.
I don't know how they are getting close enough to you to touch your legs without you having a chance to move first or tell them not to touch you but that is what you have to do - there isn onice way to say it other than - excuse me, I don't feel comfortable when you touch me so please don't do it again but they shouldn't be able to in the first place.
I am 28 now but I have always had long, nice legs and worn plenty of skirts and not too many people have just come up to me and touched me if I didn't want them to. And when they did I was just as open with them verbally as they were physically.
If they are friends of your tell them not to do it- if they are strangers and you see them coming walk away or tell them not to touch you.
I'm sure part of why you wear these skirts all of the time is to show off your legs - and there is nothing wrong with that - that's ok and no one has the right to touch you so just watch who you are around and be clear about your personal space and that you would like it respected. if they do then tell them to stop. or wear those things that are like socks that go all the way up your legs. they should have consent to do it. if they start coming to you just go far away from them. like run away. or bring some freind with you. so that the men wont want to do that in front of your friend. wearing mini skirts can keep you comfortable. but they attract men. sorry but this is a very bad situation and i cant help that much but i want to wish you good luck!

Hey Beth, you should be able to wear what you want, when you want and where you want! No one should ever come up and touch you if you don't want them too. Be very forceful when telling them to keep their hands off!
If you have the legs to wear the mini skirts, go for it!
Just make sure no one is ever touching you unless you are ok with it.

Well, it SHOULD be about "respect". Men should NOT be coming up to you and touching you or advancing themselves on you unless they've been invited to.
Clothing today sometimes can be take the wrong way.
You are comfortable in them, so you have every right to wear them, without harassment.
I disagree with some of the others' answers.
As far as you "dealing with these men", I'd say just ask them politely to respect your space. Let them know that you're not wearing the skirt for them, but for comfort and although you appreciate their compliments, you're not looking for more!
Wear what you like, just be careful! Good luck!

Why are you allowing strange men to get so close? If they are trying to touch you without your permission it is a form of assault. Of course, there are also proper times and places to wear miniskirts. If you really feel uncomfortable with all the attention then you should wear skirts that are slightly longer that will still show off your attractive legs..

You should be able to dress the way that you want to without worrying if you are going to get groped by somebody that is just trying to cop a feel!!! I say wear your skirts, and when somebody tries to touch your legs without your permission, let them know they can look, but no touch!

You should never be touched without consent... now on the other hand...I am a male and if you have attractive legs, I would want to touch them as well. So wear the skirts if you want, but beware... us men are sick animals.

Nobody has a right to touch you anywhere if you don't want them to.
Wear what you want, and if anybody touches you inappropriately, smack the across the face as hard as you can.
After a couple of times, they'll get the message.
