The odds of there being life on other planets should be very high, given the # of stars out there, and the possible # of planets. Even if that's just plant life, or small worms crawling through the ooze somewhere, it's good to know that it's there. As for intelligent life? I sure hope so. It would change the outlook of many people.

I think there must be some planet where there is some human/life existence like our earth. If we can reach that planet it will be the biggest discovery of centuries.

Yes, the possibility is high, because there is another milkyway in the universe which is Andromeda. We all live in the milkyway, and there is another in the universe. I just learnt from yahoo answers there is another milkyway exist, there may be a chance of life exist too.
