i NEED a computer NOW cause the 1 im on sucks and its not even mine. there are a few sites but u need to sign up for bull S&*% . Is there a place that will have you take a survey, enter your info and answer the door with a package?

There is a computer recycling center by my work. We went to drop off a bunch of old ones while we were there and found a 1.8 Ghz machine sitting in the pile. We had to replace the hard drive, but aside from that it is a great machine. It had 512MB in it as well. We use it as our lab computer.
You might be able to find a similar place and grap a dumpster PC that some corporation threw out because the have the money to buy nicer ones.

but just to be nice I will give you some advice! you could sign up on those advertisement and maybe you could win one! but there's .001% of chances! instead of a new or free computer why don't you just fix your old one, it's probably not much! As some of your family members if they could give a donation! But one of the way that you will definately get one is save up your money and buy your own! You can't really get stuffs for "free" gotta work for it!

No, nothing really works like that. Your best bet would be to save money and buy a decent computer (around 700-800 USD on newegg), rather than buying a piece of crap so you can have one right now.

there are alot of sites that claim u can get free puter , but u still need to take surveys and have like 500 firends do the same , etc etc . but i would not trust them on getting the merchandise they claim . and u have to be careful on those sites cause i have heard alot of viruses are pased along thru them.
maybe try to get a loan or something to buy one if u need it so bad

You can get a desktop for under 500 bucks. Sell some stuff on e-bay. You can claim money on your taxes for school expenses. I claimed up to 200 bucks a year for books. Maybe a computer goes under the same category. Get your parents to get you one. Tell them you can look up schools, look for jobs, and work on your resume'

The things you're talking about are fake, nobody wins those things, it's all jsut for the cash they make.
You may be able to get a laptop from your local computer store, by doing monthly payments. It's about as free as you get, unless you want to steal one...I don't recommend that.

If you sign up with Telus Mobility High Speed Internet you WILL get a free computer! (at least where I live!) (or you can get a pretty good one for about 300 bucks)

dont listen to any ov them ^_^..
i got the right soloution for u.. if u want a computer.. u should trade it for somthin.. u must hav somethin around the house thats my rare.. or kool.. or cute.. or valuabe yet u dont need it.. or any other thin..
just go search around ur home..or family home..for things that u or they dont need..but not things that mean somthin to u..or another..
thats the best way to do it... u could trade it for a good computer..or a laptop..many people might not need ther new comp or laptop..but they might need a toaster!!>!!!

I highly doubt it, but you can save up money and look for a good deal. I'm sure you'll find some really good ones for under a $1000.

Actually you can.. you just have to look around for promotion.... I got one years back, slow one from my favorite pc, I have to open an stock account, and they gave me the pc free! now.. I am not sure...
p.s. I did close the etrade account. The pc is practically free and I didn't make any trading.
