Why is it that white women don't ever get any credit (minority women) for fighting for women's rights?

Why is it also that white men don't get any credit for being the first of the race to accept women in power. Minority?? men are trailing way behind in this aspect. Every non-white culture (except American/Europe/Israel) has trouble accepting power positions from women. In this regard I have to admit that white men get the kudos for being the most open-minded. Funny this is never mentioned in the media and text books.
