It was a Blue Oyster Cult tune ("You can never have enough cowbell") I think it had Christopher Walken as guest-host. It may be found on Vol 1 on Will Ferrells Greatest SNL hits

Don't know about a link on YouTube, but it is featured on SNL's Best of Will Ferrell Vol.1 and Best of Christopher Walken DVDs.

Don't know the skit name, but you might search under Christopher Walken, Blue oyster Cult. He was the actor that was guesting. I think the skit name was "More Cowbell."

While "Cow Bell" is freaking funny, the Peyton Manning "United Way" skit cracked me up & the Chevy Chase news for the hearing impaired w/ the guy yelling in the corner of the screen, makes my sides hurt.... I have to say Walter Payton & Joe Montana as roommates is one of the funniest of all times
