In the series Matlock is some episodes you will see his daughter and then other episodes you will see a lady that is his daughterer.
1. Was his daughtes in the earlier episodes or later? I mean before or after the other lady.
2. Also, the lady that played his daughter was she (not playing the daughter) on one of the episodes that she was actually the killer in the murder?
Does anyone remember?

the first season he had a blone daughter, she left and his brunette daughter came to live with him, then later on he got an asisstant (who earlier played a killer)...............he also had a homely black investigator the first season who was replaced with a hottie (who went on to play trivet in walker texas ranger) matlock is one of my favorite courtroom shows, unfortunately it is not currently available on dvd.

I had to go to Wikipedia for this, but assistant wise:
Linda Purl played daughter Charlene from the pilot movie to the end of the first season.
Then Ben HIRED Michelle Thomas (played by Nancy Stafford) to help him with cases. She was on from the second to the end of season six.
Brynn Thayer joined the cast two episodes before the end of season six as Leanne MacInyre, another daughter recently divorced and a lawyer too.
She stayed with the show until the end and none of the actresses were on the show as a guilty party before being an assistant and/or daughter that I can tell.
