My wife and I always have the same argument. What makes me mad is that Im a hard working man from monday thru saturday, she also works but part time only and on her days off I can never find her home because shes always out with her mom or sister. I tell her that I dont mind her being out as long as shes home with the kids by the time I get home, but it seems like she does the oppisite because she always gets home 1-2 hours later and I get home around 5 pm and this has been going on every time she has a day off. Her family says im the one whos wrong. What do you think? what would you do?

I think she needs to grow up and her family needs to mind their own business. It sounds like your wife needs to own up to her own responsibility.

No, you aren't wrong and she is definately taking advantage of the situation. Her family is going to support her no matter what she does too and you won't be gaining any sympathy from them. Women stick together just like men do, and we hate to be wrong. So, unless you want to spend the rest of your lives arguing about something that may never change, you can do one of two things. You can continue to deal with it and say nothing, OR you can start going out on your days off and giving her a taste of her own medicine. With all that work, you could probably use a few days of "me time". So get together with your buddies, do whatever it is that you guys do and relax. She just might start changing her tune.

If your wife cared she would be home when you got home to spend some time with you. She can ran around with her mom or sister anytime she wants, and still make it back before you get home. She needs to realize that her family comes first before her mom and her sister. She sound like she just likes to run around and do whatever she wants to do.

I think it sounds like a mid life crisis. She is clearly chosing her family over you and your kids. Her family needs to butt out. Maybe you should try some counseling. Or buy her the book createdtobehishelpmeet. you can get it at createdtobehishelpmeet.com. It is wonderfully biblically based. If she reads it , it is sure to put her in her place as a wife and mother. Good luck!
