Is there any point on having the IAE treaty to stop countries from using their nuclear weapns when they already have it?What's the point of the agreement when countries can easily violate the agreements since they already have the weapons?

Yup. THe horse is rather out of the barn, huh?

Besides - it's awkward for a country that has 'em to tell one that doesn't that they can't...

Should police officers be allowed to have a gun? Unfortunately we have not learned to live together in peace and resolve our conflicts by means other than war. Nuclear weapons in the hands of the U.S.A. and its allies is a fundamental DETERRENT. Meaning, you better not bomb our soldiers and sailors and civilians, and kill thousands or we will eliminate you from the face of the Earth.
1945 in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were horrendous. Let this be the last time in Earth's history that we have to use these weapons.
Perhaps in a very distant future all weapons of war will be banned, including the hand gun and the rifle. But judging by our past and our present this future is very sadly, far, far away.

The whole world would've been better off if we'd never
invented nuclear weapons. Wish no country had them.
What we must have now tho, is a defensive weapon to
interrupt them if they are ever on their way to the U.S.

because their is no international authority, there is not much point in setting international rules for countries who don't voluntarily agree to the rule

however, individual sovereign nations can exercise their sovereignty and, by pressure, threat, or force, prevent countries they deem dangerous from obtaining or keeping nuclear weapons

I think that no one should have them (in a perfect world), but the world is not perfect and that's fine with me.
I think that as long as they have already been created...sure, why not? It's already out there it would be pointless to try and change it.
It's self-protection and since the world is not perfect nations SHOULD be doing everything they can to protect themselves and their country (including our great country USA)

Only the US should have nuclear weapons. However, this is not possible because of the efforts of liberal scum traitors who essentially sold us out to communists and now the islamofascists.
