i am unsure about what 2 do i am 17 years old and want to be a singer .. regardless if i go to american idol or not i will make it .. but i think the opportunity to experience the process of goin might be interesting , but i know its like a slim 2 nothin situation. lor like a one in a billion.. u kno.. i believe in myself and i dont want to give up .. but i dont want it to be a waste of my tyme .. auditions that are the closest to me is in TN about 2 states over... i dont want this to be a waste of time.. can anyone give me there advice .. yes i can sing!!!

If it is what you really want to do for the rest of your life, then go for it! American Idol seems the easiest way to become a famous singer (at least it does to me). If you really believe you can do it then dont give up and follow your dreams. Even if it is two states over the drive (or flight) will be well worth it. Follow your dreams!

Yes you should go if thats your dream,but dont make an as$ of yourself in the audition like so many people do that.

i think it would be a great oppurtunity for you if you have the right stuff. and mostly what i mean is the guts to do it. simon is tuff. and if you do make it, rememeber me i am a big fan of a. i.!
