your not an idiot just try downloading LimeWire.com to your computer profile and once you do that go to i tunes and do what it tell u to do!!!its not for sure just try it and see b'cuz i neva did!!!

Install itunes software and either purchase music for download, import existing music files from your computer, or import songs from CDs. Then, when you connect your ipod to the computer the music will be added to the player.

yes u have to get an iTune to atleast rename or edit the titles...
but if u don't want to do that, go directly to the iPod from my computer and click the option in the view box that says show all hidden files, then there would be this folder in ur iPod which u can directly put ur songs in it, u don't get titles thou

when u install the ipod it will install itunes as well. You will have to take every song you have on your computer and transport it into itunes in order to put it on your ipod.

get iTunes. it normally comes w/ the iPod ( it did w/ mine)
