Download and run both Ad-ware and Skybot Seek&Destroy. They are both free and available at download.com. Between them they should remove any spyware directing your browser to that page.

Then go to the page you want as your home page, click Tools in the menu, select Internet Options, and then click the "Use Current" button. The page you are on will now be your home page.

hi, There must be virus/spyware/adware in your computer. Perhaps you can try Norton or Macfee to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

go to "start" "run" type "msconfig" go to tab startup, be careful you're dealing with the guts of your computer...

Then find somenthing like "BHO xxxxxxx iexplorer xxxxx home page xxxxxx, an delete it or

if an entry sounds funny, type the name file thru the search in any web searcher and you will know if erase it or not

if not, find and download, hijackthis.exe, again, scans all your computer's guts

And never use again the explorer web browser, try firefox or opera or netscape

Open your regular home page and log in.
Click TOOLS, then INTERNET OPTIONS. The GENERAL tab opens by default. In the HOME PAGE box, click USE CURRENT, and it will reset your home page.

My guess is that you will have a download.trojan virus, too. You'll have to clean that up.

You have to use adware remover or spybot, the fact that you cant change your homepage means you have a lot of work to do, if you cant get it to change - same problem i had with my old computer, you have you backup your important files and clean your harddrive.

how did it get there? try add/ remove programs. otherwise, go to run (from the start menu) type in misconfig, go to start up and if its listed there, unck it, it may take more than one try. after that, your comp will start in safe mode unless you to the main page (from msconfig and click 'start in normal mode' . ) another thing to try, go to start, settings and taskbar and start menu, try to remove it from there. have you tried right clicking and deleting from there?
