I was just searching the internet for info on the group T.a.t.u. I wasn't really fond of them, but I like the song "All the things she said". Anyway, as I wasn't doing research I found out that they weren't really gay. As a lesbian, this upsets me. it's just another way for lesbians to not be taken seriously when you have two girls lying like this and acting like their so passionate about women and then it turns out they like guys. Anyone agree? We need some real lesbians artists and entertainers (under the age of 25) that will represent us.

yes, I had heard that a while back. and, even though I'm not really a fan, I think that it was misleading to a lot of young lesbians who might have looked up to them. it was all for ratings...controversy always brings in ratings. I agree with you...that's pretty sad.

I like some of T.A.T.U.'s songs but not them. I always knew they were fake lesbians as I think most people know. They just kissed on MTV because it was two woman kissing, so fake. One of them is having a baby with her boyfriend who happens to be married. But I still like the songs and the music's sound.

It's sad that they would misrepresent themselves just to sell CDs. You really do need some younger artists to represent. It was great having groups like the Indigo Girls, The Murmurs and Melissa Etheridge representing lesbians right at the time I was coming out to myself and others.

No offense, but you didn't realize this while they were first becoming popular? In interviews they would even say like "Oh, we're not lesbians, we're just showing our love for each other". It was an attention gimmick, and I kinda thought everyone saw through it. ::shrug::

I had a friend who used to party with them back in russia years ago, and she said that their record company made them say it, to attract the gay community
