I agree with some of these... try a preemergent herbicide as this will kill and seeds that try to germinate. You would also need to either weed them by hand (with a hoe, if it will fit into the cracks of the pavers), and/or treat with RoundUp. (Preen and RoundUp are the same thing, both are glyphosate.) This will be an ongoing process since weed seed can blow in from every direction, they can be brought in on our clothes or animals, etc...

Apply a pre-emergent every 3 or 4 months to keep seeds from sprouting. To kill the ones already growing use a spray weed killer. For a few weeds use the foam kind and put on each weed and for many weeds try round up.

I would suggest spraying a mixture of water and white vinegar on the weeds. Within a couple of days the weeds should be gone and they won't come back. Less expensive and more effective than the solutions (roundup) you can buy in the store

Preventing them is difficult. Getting rid of them is easy. If you dont like roundup or other solutions, try a propane torch. You should only have to weed the walk a few times each year.

I use Roundup when I see them first start to appear. You can pull the tiny weeds if you like. I don't have much problem with the ones that I put in over gravel and sand... and then set in with a packer and more sand.

You could always pull up your pavers, put down a weed barrier, and then put your pavers back in place.

Spray an herbicide on the weeds. You can buy it at a garden center. Make sure it doesn't come in contact with grass or other plants.

You can put plastic or some other liner underneath them. Also, Round-Up will take care of them.
