Not at all. There are more chances that the child will also be B+ and which is good because that way (I hope not) when in need blood from the family member can be used.

The problem usually occurs when there is opposite Rh factor. if the mother was Rh positive and baby was Rh negative or vice versa then mother develops antibodies against the baby's Rh factor. Thought the first baby is born normally but by that time mother has developed quite a lot of resistance against the opposite Rh factor and if the Rh factor of the second baby is also same as first baby then it would be a problem.

hope this explains.

Blood group can be the same, there is no problem. Only the Rh factor should not be different. In case it is different, soon after the child birth of the first child, the wife would need to take an injection. This would prevent the second child from developing complications. Consult a doctor.

no. this should nto be an issue, especially since you are both positive. If oen of you were negative and the other positive it might be an issue. The thing you need to check is your Rh type. It's an additional test to run on your blood and if you have to different types, it could mean big trouble for your SECOND child, even if the mom and the first child turn out fine.

It will not cause a problem unless you two are related somehow. Blood type doesn't matter, unless she is an odd blood type and needs a donor, but if it were to happen, you could donate because you have the same, it is actually a realy good thing if your not afraid of needles

No, not with today's medicine. Even if the difference causes complications there are drugs that she can take to stop them.
And if I remember correctly, having the same blood type causes no problems at all. But that's just from memory.

Congrats on the marriage and good luck on the baby!

Most doctors believe that the second child you have will have problems...We both had 0+, and then they just give you a shot to help the RH factors...Talk to "ASK A NURSE"...They may be able to answer your question further...

No it creates no problem
It actually helps that you are both postive... because then the mom doesn't have to get a shot because your Rh factor will be the same. ( that's the + or - )
