Well as a PR freak, I definitely have an opinion about it.

Plain and simple, he broke the rules. As viewers, we didn't even know the rules. Because of that, we were all suprised. However, it was a pretty big deal considering that he was a menswear designer who just happened to WIN the very first challenge. And Tim also stated that he had disappeared for several hours out of prodution with no explanation. Evidently, everyone is pretty well monitored and rightly so considering the stakes. These people are trying to follow their dream and become designers and the fact that Keith broke the rules was unfortunate. I liked him and think that he could have probably made it on his own. But then again, he broke the rules so he needed to be kicked off of the show. I hate it, but it had to be done. I also thought that maybe because of his being kicked off that they would not eliminate anyone for the challenge, but they did!! I still love Project Runway, and cannot wait for next wednesday!!!

Well, I don't know too much about fashion design, but I don't see what the big deal is about having a pattern book. It's not like he could bring it to the design studio and copy out an exact pattern. I'm sure that most of the other contestants have used them in the past.

However, I do think that Keith should have been sent home for breaking the explicit rule (even though I do not agree with the rule).

As much as I disliked Keith, the show might be a little quieter and boring without him.

um I think what he did was wrong because is a competition and everyone should have equal access as everyone Else and should obey the rules of the game CZ that's what makes it fun. I'm studding to become a fashion designer myself and I think what he did was wrong and unfairly for the others. He should obey the rules of the game. Not only did he brought in the books, be he left the the production set to go use the Internet as well when no one was to leave the set. That was one of the major reason he got kick out to. Keith seem like a creative guy I don't know why he did what he did CZ he didn't even get to use the damn books and yet he was off the show CZ of one little mistakes. I felt bad for him but again if u look at it, it would teach others how to fellows rules and respect them especially in a composition.

Rules are rules and he broke the rules. The producers of the show have to be fair to everyone. If any of the other contestants had broken the rules, they would have been kicked off too.

It was childish the way they tattled on him but I guess rules are rules and he knew better so he had to deal with the consequences. I bet that one of them will get kicked off eventually though, that's what happens when you try to get others in trouble for your personal gain. They probably looked at him as a threat and thought that would be a good way to get him off.

He cheated, plain and simple. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!
