It comes in sets of 3x3 for me lately! The reason ppl say this is so that you don't feel so lousy and uniquely cursed if bad luck strikes more than once. It makes it seem that it's just a rule of the Universe.

Actually it comes in ones, although three ones can happen before any good luck messes that up

I honestly don't think it does. I think that when something bad happens to us we are just more aware of all the other crappy stuff that happens. The whole bad luck X3 is just a way for people to cope with the bad stuff. After 3 they think something good HAS to happen.

I know it does, but I cannot tell you why, just like they say 3rd time is a charm. And there was 3 musketeers, Dove bars come in 3's..

I've heard of that before... it always does seem to come in AT LEAST 3's... karma I guess. The pagans believe in the law of 3... (I'm not pagan, but have friends that are). If you do something good, it will come back to you times 3, and same for if you do something that's not so good.

because in world war two all the time that a sniper needed to close in on a burning match and get a kill is the time that THREE people needed to light with one match.
