It's not recommended for some Linksys devices, but here's what you do::

1. Record any specific settings used for WEP, SSID, etc. in the Linksys software
2. Uninstall the Linksys monitor software
3. Reboot
4. Go to Start -> Run, type "services.msc" (without the quotes) and hit OK
5. Look for the service called "Wireless zero configuration" and make sure it's set to Automatic. If you had to make a change here, go ahead and start it manually.

Now Windows will be in charge of managing the connection. You will need to transfer all the correct settings before it will work. I'm sure Linksys has this documented in the manual or out at their site.
