Why do you think? They had the same problems blacks did, and still do!

Because some men are threatened by women who are smarter than they are and see to it that they are not put in any position of power. That is why we will probably never have a woman president.

PS - mm3mmt - women are NOT inferior to men, that is just something men want to believe to make themselves seem important.

Because males have a problem with dominant women. If a woman is in a position of power, people say, "Oh, she must be a lesbian." or "Oh, she is such a bi*ch." It's stereotyping women as the "weaker" sex and man's continual need to dominate and keep women in a submissive role.

I believe woman have made great strides in achieving high positions. I see them in leadership roles in every industry. Many women (and rightly so) chose to forgo the career to raise their children.

Because men don't like to be shown up by a woman, in front of their peers. But behind every great man, there is a very intelligent woman telling him what move to make next.

Because men are trying to be gentle in giving you the message that women belong at home, with the kids, doing the dishes and preparing our supper.

Its because of the fact that this is dickedy dick world. Its sad but true, also most men are insecure about having women in power.

It has a lot to do with the family structure. In familys with longer legacies they are most always patriarchal. In the rare cases where there is a matriarch she is usually unmarried. I really couldnt say why that is, maybe its time we took a step toward change.

Men are more oriented to lead. Its not a sexist thing, its just life. Men are more dominant so they fit better in leadership postions.

Its so typical for men to say that females are inferior. The answer to your question is that most females are not interested in politics, they would much rather conform to society.
