They are an ally of this nation, no doubt we'd help them

It depends on the actions that caused the missiles to be launched.

For example. Suppose Germany were to attack France (they do have a habit of doing so) without provocation. If France responded, then NO.

If France were to attack Germany (remember this is a fantasy) then yes. Germany is a NATO member and we are supposed to help protect all NATO members (even France) if they are attacked.

"The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all. Consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area."

I know where you are going with this. Listen, Israel has been playing an unfair defense for some time now. Everyone hates them. And everyone who hates them is bigger, richer, and meaner. We are their big brother. In relation to their size, a missile fired into Germany wouldn't mean near the same as one in Israel with every threat a possibly fatal one.

We have thousands of soldiers and numerous bases in Germany. It would not be a wise move on who ever fired the missiles. Germany is our allies and pity the fool who would attack them.

Germany is good to go. I fully believe they can take care of them selfs and don't need the USA to take care of them.

It is not out obligation to help anyone through military action.
It is, however, our obligation as a powerplayer in the UN to provide recovery supplies, shelters, health care in bombed areas, etc.
