Do you think that when Matsui, Sheff, and Cano come back, will it be better 4 the yanks, or will it be better if they stick with melky? What do you think is gonna be the best?

Cano's the only person I desperately want back right now. I'm tired of the long ball.In the 90s we had great championships with great PITCHING and our power hitters hitting around 20-25 homers a year (Tino, Paulie, Bernie). Since then we've switched approuch with a bunch of cleanup hitters in the lineup and not as good pitching and I don't like it.
I think that Cano will be a good improvement over the Yankees but with Abreu I don't think we desperately need Hideki or Shef back right away. Of course it will help in the stretch but we have been hot lately and pitching has been fantastic.

Moose+Wang+Randy=1 2 3 punch.

I like this lineup.

Damon - CF
Jeter - SS
Abreu - RF
A-Rod - 3B
Giambi - DH
Jorge - C
Wilson - 1B
Cano - 2B
Melky - LF

Of course Cano is better than Wilson but Wilson has more pop.
Melky's good at the bottom of the order cause he's got speed and patience and one day he'll be a great lead off man.

Cano will start at 2B
Abreu will start in RF
Damon will start in CF
Matsui will start in LF
Sheffield will be the starting DH

Which leaves no room for poor Melky or Bernie...

LETS GO METS!!! :p

They can only make the lineup better! Boston is in deep deep do-do!!! We Yankee fans can turn around and wave good bye to the Red Sucks as they fade in the distance!! Just remember, after the Babe came to NY the record is what?

YANKEES 26 RED SUCKS 1

Jeter will be AL MVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Torre should go with whoever is hot at the time. If you are on a roll you should not change anything. Put the others players back in slowly to not disrupt the rythm.

no but joe torre already said that cano is playin tomorrow and said that cabera is stayin in the line up. because he has been a great hitter and has caught good balls he robbed manny ramirez for a home run and he had a douple, tripple, single all in one night cabera stays in the line up

I love questions like this "yankee/red sox fans only"

It's like an open invitation to step in and scream NO.

But, at any rate, it doesnt matter...

...the yankees DO NOT win the world series.

melky will be great coming off the bench, but shef and hideki need to be on the field.
