Ummm....
Has anyone here ever heard of the Iditarod, in Alaska?
It covers 1150 miles in 10 to 17 days.
I think the question of a dog running a marathon is a moot point. Pulling a dog sled with added weight that far seems to be more than a marathon could ever be.
read about it here:

It depends on the dog, but sure you can train it. A marathon is about 26 miles-- a working border collie was once recorded running 28 miles on a single typical day. I don't see any reason why there shouldn't be a canine marathon, provided that the surface they run on is gentle on their paws and they've got a human or two to run it with.

yes we can make the dog to run for a marathon, because practice makes a man perfect why this should not be applicable for the dog too. so practice will surely result in a positive result

I don't think dogs have the ability to keep their attention on something for that long. Their owners will probably have to run with them.
