Who I am hates who I've been
I'm sorry for.

OH GOD PLEASE SHOOT ME. A bunch of receeding hair line 20 somethings are singing about teenage angst to a bunch of freaky loser dinky girls who think deep down in their heart that the lead singer will toss a fiery glance in their direction. ANd he does, but only because the girl has a skunk rotting in her hair.

Absolutely not. You've heard the saying. "We are what we hate". Doesn't make any sense. Otherwise we would be what we hate.

Every now and then we might do something to rebel. For instance, be evil for evil. But this is short term.

If he/she dislikes something and does it anyway, this means that can't dislike it too much.

Now, let's say someone has gone from bad to good. Used be into theft, drugs, ect.
Like a father disliking a daughter's boyfriend. Even though the farther used to be the same way. Usually this does not involve hate. Inside the father won't likely hate who he was. Inside he though it was just part of growing up. Most people don't hate themselves on their past life.

People should never hate themselves. Take it as a mistake and move on. Some people may think this way but it only causes hurt.

Good question.

Sometimes I am disappointed with who I am. I have done things I am not proud of. But I must learn to forgive myself, and move on. I try not to linger in the past. If not for those disappointments, I wouldn't be who I am. Besides, life is about being who you want to be. You can always change who you are if you are dissatisfied. I am constantly remaking myself.

Nope, I wouldn't be who I am if I wasn't who I was. So who I am isn't always proud of who I was but understands that without my "whole" life I wouldn't be me today. Make sense?
