I am doing a self evaluation on my presentation. How do I make these sentences much more smoother and better?

It seems like I use the first person pronoun, "I," too much.

Hey kid. I don't know where you're living, but where I am (Ireland) it's 03.10am and I feel like doing somebody a favour.. So there's my introduction, here we go;

"I was doing the presentation on how to write an application letter, cover letter, as July 31, 2006, discussing what an application letter is, as well as explaining why an application letter is needed, and giving methods of writing an application letter of a high standard.
I also provided some tips for writing an effective application letter, and discussed the 'ABC' method of writing an application, with examples such as addressing, opening, body and closing.
(you should finish off with some kind of conclusive statement, maybe give an example of something you learned through the experience - bullshit if you have to! - or say something like 'it was very sucessful, blah blah blah, they reacted enthusiastically, blah blah.)

Hope that helps, good luck!

I am doing a presentation on how to write an application and cover letter dated July 31, 2006. I am defining an application letter, why one is needed, and how to write an effective letter. I also provide some tips for effective writing to be included in an application letter. I broke it down into an ABC method to make writing an application letter easier...including the opening, body, and closing.

I wouldn't be so concerned about the use of the word "I". I would; however, reevaluate the run on sentences that are extremely confusing. I really don't know what you are talking about here. Try this... "In presenting the application process, it is important to understand the components. Cover letters, for example..."- see where I am going with this? Good luck.

This is REALLY poor expression of ideas. I wouldn't know where to begin to tell you how to fix it because it is so badly written. Trash it and start over. That would be my suggestion. If you can't express yourself any better than this, you really need to take a good English course where you will learn to write correctly and effectively. This is all meant to be constructive criticism, not mean remarks.

Good luck!!
