Although technically you really should not be playing second faves but since I fired the B's after the Fleece Center and Jacobs arrived, my second fave (and my hometown team by fluke of birth) is the Nux.
So the new second fave? None really. Just love Ovechkin so I'll say the Caps as Kolzig's alright too. But I don't really have any passionate interest in any team really but the Nux in the 21st century.

Good question. I've lived an died with my long-suffering Vancouver Canucks (and I have the nerve to laugh at Leaf fans, eh?), but who is number 2?
I like the Bruins, have since the days of Orr, but have a hard time forgiving them for inflicting Don Cherry on the hockey world. I like the Senators. I like the Avs and the Coyotes, but mostly because I liked their previous Canadian identities (the Nordiques and the Jets). I like the Sharks, but mostly for their uniforms which break the mold (not afraid of dazzling colours). I like the St. Louis Blues, even though the current version sucks.
I'll have to stay north of the 49th parallel and go with Ottawa!

After the Boston Bruins who have been my team since the 1950's, I like the Calgary Flames. They are a relatively small market, Canadian team that has a good front office organization. The Flames could become my number 1 team if Boston continues to make such bizarre front office decisions. (Joe Thornton)

i'm a Blackhawks fan, been raised one by using my mom. My 2d widespread team is the Dallas Stars, with the aid of fact Ed Belfour exchange into my widespread Hawk as a youthful human beings and the celebs have been given him a cup. BQ: The Flyers, final year's Finals somewhat made me savour the Flyers and their legacy in hockey. Yeah i exchange into batshit insane throughout those finals calling for the blood of each and every Philadelphia first born, yet that's purely the end results of playoff hockey on me. So yeah, regardless of my craziness final year, I grew to appreciate the Flyers.

The Minnesota Wild... for a number of reasons: I love their logo (not a great hockey reason), I was at their first ever official regular season game (in Anaheim against the Ducks), and I cheered for them in the 2003 playoffs--they really had teamwork going on in the best possible way.
