Europe has destroyed many indigenous cultures, but at the same time added on to them, making them great and prosperous. I think it is a very fortunate thing that the Spaniards and such colonized the Americas. It was the discovery of the 'new world.'
Sadly, I think, Europeans have also done rather idiotic things. For example, Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand of Spain ('the Catholics') actually led a campaign against Moors and Jews living in Spain: either they would convert or be forced out. They committed genocide against these people, both culturally and physically.
Also, I know someone who, upon hearing tragic news in the Middle East or something, says, "Those British destroyed the world!"
The British caused many problems when they went about the world, creating stupid borders between different countries as they saw fit. These conflicts still exist today. Here's one: The border conflict and hate between India and Pakistan. The consequences of Britain's actions are war, much loss of life, a great deal of animosity between the two countries, etc.
Those were just a couple examples. I don't know what you think. Europeans and what they have accomplished throughout their continent are mostly great and admirable, but they have indeed done lots of things in the past that are just the opposite; wrong and despicable.

i would say destroyed, specially in america, most of the navtive american cultures (north and south america) was destroyed and/or vanished. We know very little from any of these cultures and its treasures. From what little is known, a lot of these cultures were far more advance, at the time of the european "conquest", in astronomy, architecture, even somewhat in medicine, but europeans view such cultures mostly because of religous beliefs as "evil" or "savages". I also feel the same, i dont hate "europeans", but its very sad to have lost the history and knoledge of all those cultures.

Destroyed. Not all Europeans did it but many of the ones that spread out destroyed the cultures of the areas they traveled through and in turn imprinted their own. If any territory they were in has any semblance of their own culture left, it still has some form of European culture mixed into it so it's not purely their own anymore. It's theirs + European = current culture.
