no, i do not think MYSPACE is bad. it is the PEOPLE on MYSPACE who are BAD.
you just have to be smart when using sites that offer networking. if you don't know the person who wants to chat with you or sends you a message...don't respond. it's as simple as that. also, there are people who use the site who portray themselves in a certain way to get attention. when you do that, you're asking for ANY attention, good and bad. then there are others who post personal info (phone numbers, addresses, last names, etc.) and it sets them up for trouble. it's just common sense.
i am so tired of hearing people complain about myspace... it's not myspace that's the problem.

myspace.com is awful and it's the only web site I have blocked on my computers at home. My neice went on it at my house a few months ago and got a awful virus on my computer that even Norton couldn't get rid of. I had to wipe everything out on my computer, it was devestating.
It was awful, I will never again allow it!
