It's a question that has been bounced back and forth since last season. They both have thier strengths and weaknesses. Reddick, one the best pure shooters the ACC has ever seen, is still an undersized two guard who got plenty of screens in the Duke offense. He's not the best defensive player and does not usually dominate a game with his intensity.
Morrison, on the other hand, has got a NBA frame and a shot to match Reddick. His intensity on the court can be taken as a pro and a con I suppose. As well, he's not the quickest guy you'll see hit the court. His ball handing skills are not that great either, but it seems to get the job done.
Overall, I tend to side with most experts going into the draft and say that Morrison has got the most intangibles that could make him a NBA star.

Those that pick JJ are just Duke homers. Redick can do 1 thing and that he does well; shoot from outside. However, he couldn't guard anyone in college. As a 2-guard, you think he can slow down Kobe, D-Wade, Rip Hamilton, etc.? Me neither. And if you can't play D in the NBA (unless you're on Phoenix, Atlanta, or Golden State), you generally won't play. Also, back problems generally do not go away, that is something he will probably be dealing with for his entire career. Anyone remember what Trajan Langdon did in the NBA? The same will be said about JJ in 6 years.

As for Morrison, anyone making a poor-man's Bird comparison is just fooling themselves. Morrison can create for himself and shoot all over the court, but he doesn't create for others and his D isn't much better then JJ's. At SF, do you think Morrison even has a chance against Melo or LeBreezey? It makes me wonder how many 40+ pt games those 2 will put up against AM.

To answer your question though, since Morrison has legit potential to be a 16 - 20 pt scorer in the NBA while JJ should max out around 13, the nod has to go to AM. Unless you count the next 4 3-point competitions that JJ will participate in.

Adam Morrison is the better all around player, J.J Reddick is the better shooter. And in the NBA, Adam Morrison will most likely have the better career.

Adad morrison. In collage I might have said J.J. but in the NBA definetly Morrison. This is because morrison is 5 inches taller, and it will be easier to gaurd people than J.J.. Also Morrison is more of the person who gets to the rim and scores type of person; He drives and either scores or gets to the line.

they had similar statistics but JJ did it with a much better supporting casts. opposing defenses have to defend other players. Morrison was always the focus of the defense. I would say Morrison is the better player.

I'll go with Red Dick, if only for the reason that Morrison is a whack job in need of a rubber room. Gay Gay at least has only one personality in between his ears.
