No, I'm not that straight forward.
I'd probably ease my way into a conversation with him and a group of people during the party and then make sure there were a few 'cooincidental' situations where we happened to end up in the same vicinity of the room or in convo again.
I'd rather look like I wasn't trying to get his attention and play a little cat and mouse. ;)

Hmmm, maybe not right away....I'd sit back for a bit and see what the lay of the land is first, then I'd go up and introduce myself. I want to be sure that a) he came alone and b) that everyone else has already had an opportunity to make a fool of themselves over him....that way I can time my move perfectly....perhaps offer him a towel to wipe of the drool of others? LOL

Really depends, Usually am the hot one and everyone has lined up to say Hi to me! So very lil chance of me having time to see others in the room

Maybe, maybe not. Question is....If they're so hot....why are they in a corner? Gasp!... Could it be someone who is hot and shy? I've heard of people such as this but unfortunatley most hot people are to full of themselves and would never be caught dead in a corner. Unless they're really drunk and using the corner to stand upright........=)

Only if they seem like a genuine good person. If they're dumb or rude, I don't care how hot they are, but they would need to go stand in another room.
