My boyfriend and I Have been trying to have a baby. We have been trying for about 7months and I cannot get pregnant. I think I may have a Blocked Fallopian tube, but I still get my period every month.
So my Question is do you get your period if you have a blocked fallopian tube?
B/c in my book it says that
"Female infertility can be caused by an obstruction in a fallopian tube, through which the egg passes from the ovary to the uterus." What does that mean?? please Help with any Suggestions thanks!!

sure you could. I have only one ovary (therefore only 1 tube) and still have one.
There's a procedure a professional can perform, where they send DYE up thru the fallopian tubes to see if they are blocked (Hysterosalpingogram - try googling it). My sister had it because she couldn't get pregnant either, and believe it or not 2 months later she did.

A blocked fallopian tube would block the path the egg would take from the ovary to the uterus. If would not stop you from having periods. The period bleeding comes from the sloughing off of the uterine lining (endometruim). This lining builds up each month to provide a plush, healthy place for the fertilized egg to implant and grow throughout the pregnancy.
Find a good women's health website and look for diagrams of the female reproductive system to help you "see" how it works.

See your doc, maybe he can do an intra-vaginal ultrasound and maybe see something. Other than that I don't know, but you need to see a doctor for something like that!! Good Luck
