I'm totally addicted to my cell phone. Although i read just the other day that a lot of ppl are switching to pre-paid plans because with them you're only paying for the minutes you use. And there are some pretty decent deals out there now. Like Net 10 from WalMart. I got my daughters one to keep with them when they go to ball practice, camp, games, etc. I only spend $30 for 2 months of service. When my contract is up with the service provider i have now i'm definately switching over to pre-paid myself. Another plus is that there are no roaming or long distance charges.

don't lie to yourself...your parents won't let you so you are on here to show them "look EVERYONE has one" if you are under 16 u don't need one...it is good for drivers in case of an emergency

I live in a rural area where you wouldn't get service even if you had one. So I have a land line, and I couldn't be happier. (much much cheaper too)
