you sound like a genius. although it may not be normal for other teenagers, its normal for you and that is what counts.

I would say that is completly normal. Great people do amazing things (and more complicated than programing) from 5-7 years old.
I did programs and html, flash, visualbasic, and some other graficas at 15 too. thats ok, and i'm not a nerd... but i dont know how to play a piano or violin, or sky diving... hahaha.
Just use your gift of "understand computers" for some good reason. ;)

I built a computer before that age. Late bloomer. Yeah. I think it's perfectly normal. Doesn't everyone know how to build a computer at 15?
Unlike some of the others, I'm not joking.

If that's what you're in to, then yes it's normal. I mean age is a number. My stepson is 14 and he's a pilot, although he has to wait until he's 16 to get a license. I was a great baseball player when I was your age. Why, because that's what I did almost every day. If you work on computers every day, then you should be great at it too. With the way technology is advancing so rapidly, we need more like you.

My 10 year old is proficient in various graphic arts programs, HTML, computer set-up, etc. She's also managing upgrades to software and hardware, etc. Now she's learning about programing. I'm starting to believe that this is normal.

Yeah, it beats what most kids your age are doing.
Let's just say while your clocking the dough, billy bob will be slobbing the ho.
Or
He might be experimenting with a good ole jar of lube, and a magazine.

Is anything really normal? What's normal to one person probably isn't normal to another. My idea of light reading is stuff like 'The Chronicles of Narnia and Philosophy'. That's most likely not normal! If you like it GO FOR IT!

Yes it is normal--at least with the type of people I hang out with--just stay on the law side with your talent.
