Some people cry out for help but have already made the decision in their own mind. Unless they are willing to truly listen to other people's perspectives they are going to do what they want to.

Some people don't take the advice given because they don't like the idea of following it, or aren't comfortable with the advice given. Like going to another doctor to get a second opinion, even when your doctor PROMISES his/her way is the ONLY way.
Others don't take it because of fear, laziness, or many other things, the posibilities are pretty much endless, depending on the advice given and the person who asks for it.
