Well actually they aren't my roses, they are my mom's from her 25th wedding aniversary. She got them on August 1st and today they are wilting and droopy. They are kept in a vase filled with water, inwhich we change daily. Is it true ice water helps? What about asprin?

A florist once told me that a citrus soda (7-up, sprite etc.) will help make flowers last longer. He said it's very similar to that package of stuff they give you in flower shops. Good luck!

Re-cut stems on a slant, remove some of the thorns and lay flat in a bathtub filled with 2 or 3 inches of very warm water.
They will spring back!
