Why is it that when a question is asked that requires some thought?

The mean people answer first, it's so simple to spew hate, the latter answers, in general, are from people who really care.

I think most people just answer the new questions that come up. They odds are slim that someone will happen to know about any that particular topic so the quick answers will likely be uninformed.

I like to use the search engine for a topic I actually know something about. Many times I will have a previously prepared answer for questions that pop up regularly (Like those comparing republicans to Nazis, or on the subject of freedom of speech)

So when I ask a question, I can count on many uninformed responses in the first 15 to 30 minutes but I have to wait a day or so for something intelligent.

It generally takes time to form a considered opinion.

Some of my answers take 10 or 15 minutes of research to come up with the info needed.

I`d be nice if there WAS a question that needed some thought on here.Most are inane and either racist ,religiously intolerant or just plain rediculous.
Obviously "the mean people" (how old are you 3???) are going to jump at the chance to write what they do.

Or, they just don't answer it at all. And the sad part is, if the asker let's it go to vote, no one will vote for later answers, or longer answers that actually respond to the question.

Few people are here for real discussion. They're here for political masturbation - make it quick, please yourself, and everyone else is just a tool for that quick pleasure.
